What is your past experience? How long have you been a tutor?

I started tutoring over 25 years ago. While I have worked in education in various capacities including special education case manager, guest teacher, elementary school science lab coordinator, and teen center lead teacher, I have always continued tutoring. It has been my pleasure to help students of all ages and ability levels in their educational journey. There is nothing better than seeing a child realize their potential.

What if I need to cancel? What is your cancellation policy?

If you cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance there will be no cancellation fee. If cancelled within 24 hours there is a $20.00/hour charge. No shows will be charged at the full rate of their scheduled appointment.

What subjects do you cover?

Currently I cover: Language Arts, Decoding and Phonics, Reading Comprehension, Writing, General Math, Pre- Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, History, English, General Chemistry, and Biology.

What are your payment options? Do you offer multi session discounts?

We accept cash or Venmo at this time. All payments are due prior to services rendered. No multi-session discounts are offered at this time.

Can I book weekly sessions? For example, 1 hour every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for 4 weeks.

Weekly scheduled sessions are recommended and are the only way to secure your desired time-slot.

How much does a session cost?

Private Tutoring rate is charged hourly with an extra charge for travel.

Packages of services are also available. Inquire for more information.

For those who may be facing financial challenges, I try to offer a few lower-cost tutoring slots. These opportunities are limited and fill quickly. Please contact me to be placed on a wait-list for these services.
